(More customer reviews)These covers protect the back seat very well. I have a 40 lb. dog and she loves them too. She does not slip all over the leather seating anymore. There is enough texture to the synthetic sheep skin that they are non-slip. The only drawback is that they are not more fitted to the seats. I have a Ford Escape and therefore, the covers were a little large on my seats. They do have an elastic band around the edges and also have small elastic straps with plastic hooks to "tie down" the covers, but my car did not have any place to attach the "tie downs". The elastic band around the edges works well, but I found that the covers secured much better by tucking them in around the seat, while the seat is raised up a little, then clamping the seat back into place with the covers still tucked in. I have also sent the covers through the washing machine once, they still look great, and there was no major shedding. I am very pleased with them.
