(More customer reviews)This product is fair. Could have done a better job of planning the attachment hangers. Sewing of edges is poor. Would be OK in a full sized car or SUV. In our Hyundai Santa Fe it's way too long. Besides the way they show it in the picture the dog would have to jump up to get on it. Some dogs are jumpers our Samoyed is NOT. He steps up into the car. If the cover is installed as shown we would have to lift 75 lbs of dog into the seat. Also some sort of fastening should be attached that would keep the cover from slipping where the backs meet the seats.
On the dog's side the material is slippery to walk on. The plastic on the cover is slick. unless the cover is installed upside down it gives no traction.
We have made only 1 trip with it so far and poochie didn't like it. He didn't relax and tried to come up front all the time. Generally he sleeps the whole trip. Can't say that I blame him. I sure wouldn't want to sit or lay on it for extended periods.
We will go back to a blanket in the rear seat.
I'll probably use it under the car when changing oil.
