(More customer reviews)I put these bags over the tank of my KLR 650 and they work like they were made for it. There is still some bunching behind the gas cap, but that's nothing to be bothered by.
These are great for holding gloves, beanies, ponchos, garage-door-openers, and other things that you'd need quick access to on a ride. They're pretty roomy, with lots of pockets and pouches for all kinds of things. They also leave room for a tank bag to go over them, if you need a lot of cargo space.
The only downsides are these: I had to waterproof mine because water can seep through and wet your stuff. They also need some kind of tie-down device if you plan to use them on a motorcycle or they'll flap up. I use zip-ties and carabiners. One other con (and it's very minor) is that your knees will touch them. However, I've found this useful, actually. They act as shin-guards for flinging gravel chips or water splashes.
Over all, I'd but them again in a heartbeat. They look great on the KLR!
One quick caveat: Amazon dropped the price by $10 right after I bought them and wouldn't negotiate on "price matching" their own price. I bought at $45, they reduced to $35, then raised the price back to $46. Not too happy about that policy.
