(More customer reviews)My dog has a harness that a seatbelt can be thread through. But she would constantly become tangled in the belt and eventually she could get out of her harness all together. This was a terrible safety issue. Not only would she try to climb in the front seat, but she would have no restraints in the case of an accident.
I bought this hoping it would solve these issues and it has!
The zipline keeps my dog in the back seat and she can move about freely without getting tangled. And she hasn't one gotten out (or even tried to) of her harness since I started using the zipline.
You can adjust how much length you let the dog have on the zipline. I give mine enough freedom to rest her head on my armrest and she seems happy with that.
